Our role was to develop creative materials that would enhance the distinctive film The Holdovers from Focus Features, starring Paul Giamatti, D’vine Joy Randolph, and Dominic Sessa. The approach focused on capturing the essence of the time period - employing a vintage approach to audio/visuals reminiscent to old-age film and photography.

To emphasize the vintage atmosphere, we established an accent color that contrasted with the intentionally underexposed footage and integrated a subtle grain texture to the creative, along with motion that evoke the ambiance of the 1970s.

Overall, our creative highlights the film's blend of comedy and heartfelt moments, while while allowing the story to take center stage.
